چکیده
Melia azedarach L. has been utilized in traditional systems of medicine for the treatment various diseases including urolithiasis. The study aimed to perform phytochemical studies and anti-urolithiatic potential fruit-seed extracts azedarach. Sequential extraction was performed using chloroform, methanol water. plant were then subjected quantitative tests analysis. An activity investigated via vitro nucleation aggregation assay spectrophotometer. preliminary analysis showed presence proteins (31.97 ± 0.56%), lipids (2.95 0.03%) carbohydrates (64.90 0.56%). chloroform extract contained maximum quantity polyphenols (77.65 0.53 mg/g) flavonoids (74.71 0.67 mg/g). At a concentration 5 mg/ml, exhibited inhibitory both (55.85 1.43%; 56.42 4.49%) respectively. All substantial by inhibiting crystallization calcium oxalate. Due primary secondary metabolites, could serve as source useful drugs.

متن کاملIn vitro anti-Junin virus activity of a peptide isolated from Melia azedarach L. leaves.
Meliacine, a peptide isolated from leaves of Melia azedarach L. inhibited the multiplication of Junin virus in Vero cells treated with the compound before infection (pre-treatment) or immediately after virus adsorption. Analysis of early events following infection demonstrated that meliacine blocks virus penetration by preventing the uncoating step. The addition of meliacine at different times ...
